Randomness

Apparently my computer has decided to take issue with loading everybody's friend connect. You know, where it loads all of your followers. I have gone to 2 blogs and it took almost an hour to load. I'm getting very frustrated. I did a disk clean up, a defragment and cleared out all my history and still it is behaving badly. I'm going to try giving it a time out. I know I am behind on getting to yalls blogs, but seriously it isn't my fault. I am trying!

A perfumed swamp rabbit:

The cat Whiskers was walking along the edge of the table and whoops he's gone! Dang, what happened Whiskers?!

I went to the thrift store and found this box:

If you'll notice the little attachments. I gave this box to hubby thinking he could use it for something. He got to looking at those attachments and couldn't figure out what they could possibly be for. He tells me..Thanks Dear, I just love having my mind blown away! It is just as bad as me giving him a puzzle.

It was so friggin cold last night, I slept with gloves on!

Hubby at work..His running buddy gets an hours jump on him and has time for a big breakfast. Hubby riles him about missing out.
Buddy says...there is another load to Cotulla, hurry up and catch up to me and I'll treat you for breakfast.
Hubby...Okay, just let me run to the yard and get fuel first.
Hubby pulls in the yard and buddy's truck is sitting there.
Hubby calls him up on CB, How far away are ya?
Buddy...oh, about 30 miles.
Hubby...Liar!! I'm looking right at your truck! You wouldn't lie to an old man would ya?
Buddy...Of course I would!!
They had a good roaring laugh about it.
Hubby still waiting on that breakfast!

I can't see what the attachments are exactly. Is that a knife?! What an odd box!

Nice prank his buddy played!

Sounds like a good friendship.

The attachments are for wine drinkers and it looks as if the corkscrew is missing. There is a wine stop, a unscrew cap thingy or a thing that slices through the label, a napkin holder to go around the bottle and a cigar clipper. Alternatively it is a box used for performing a bris (circumcision).

The box is a mystery. Jen's explanations cracked me up...

That box looks like the perfect tree frog or hermit crab coffin! All satin-lined and fancy! Add some flare to impromptu burials. =)

I like the box! Not sure what I'd do with it though...I have a nice fancy box for garden tools but it doesn't have a satin lining. Duh. HA HA.

Your hubby's buddy is SO in for it. You can run but you can't hide. LOL.

Mindy...LOL!! I'll put that rat in it, when I catch it! LOL!

Angelia...For a dollar I couldn't pass it up. Hubby still hasn't figured out what he will do with it. Garden tools, LOL!

Tink...Sorry, I wish I was a better pic taker, like Angelia. I think it is nice as long as you don't open it, then it gets confusing.
