Randomness

Went to bed at 2:45am and got woke up at 7am. The freaking fracking neighbors honking into my ear. She was apparently trying to tell her daughter to hurry the blank up!
Yes I know most of you have heard me grip about the honking and I regret putting you through it again.
But seriously, HOW is it she doesn't grasp the knowledge that that horn could possible wake up her neighbor!!!! OMG, I am soo cranky this morning!
I'll move on...

In other news at the Welchland:

Last night while peaceably watching V (yes hubby has gotten me hooked), Taco went to jump up on the couch and jumped right on Chaquita. She was under the covers sound asleep and as soon as it happened, she came unglued and come charging out from those covers and attacked Taco. Taco screamed and I jumped up and tried to break it up. Once in their prospective corners, Taco was still screaming. I picked him up and rushed him to the kitchen and proceed to investigate. Yup, she had bitten his lip and he was bleeding. It wasn't bad and it stopped bleeding within minutes, but every time Taco was even remotely in her line of sight he whimpered and tucked his head into my armpit!

Yesterday I went to the thrift store. Mostly to get away from the possibly chance of eating through my day (I'm trying folks), but also cause I just need to get out of the house.

Here are some of the items I found at the thrift store:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On my way back from the thrift store, I was going down a gravel road and in the distance I could see there was someone on the side of the road. I thought it was this old guy that rides his bike all the time, but no it turned out to be a daddy with his son in a stroller. That was a pleasant surprise. I immediately slowed way down, as to let the dust settle and to not possible throw gravel at them. The man just looked and looked at me with a frown on his face. This puzzled me very much.
Have we become a society that disregards our fellow people soo much that when a common courtesy is done, they find it to be strange behavior?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I rode my bike for all of five minutes yesterday morning. I wanted to at least do more than that, but I'm going to have to build myself up to it. Very Very out of shape!

I guess that is it for today, my mind is drawing a blank right now and I need to get to the lawn mowing.

Yall have a great day!

To Suziecate: It seems Blogger is having "comment" problems this morning...

To Heather: You kinda like the color green, eh? And yes, work up to more time on the bike, a little every day...And maybe the guy on the road didn't understand what you were trying to do...maybe slowing down made him think the worst instead of the best...It's the world we live in...

Poor Taco!

Oh, and I LOVE thrift stores! Up here, Wednesdays are fifty-percent-off day, so I'll be hitting the nearby Sal Army as soon as I get off work.

poor Taco! That's why we only have 1 dog, but she got pretty beat up when Leo was smaller! And people don't understand common courtesy these days. He probably thought you were going to yell something or be rude when all you were trying to do was be polite. And even if you can only ride for 5 minutes at least it's a start, and think of all the exercise you'll get mowing the lawn!

Hmm. Sorry you had such a rough morning. Have you spoken to the neighbor about the horn thing? That really irks me. On a bad morning, she's liable to have her tires slashed. :)

Hmmmm, if I were in your place with a noisy neighbor, I might turn my home into a Rottweiler farm / steel drum factory to establish sonic dominance...

Nothing worse than 40 dogs barking at me hammering an out of tune steel drum into shape.

Have been there done that with neighbors honking the horn, there is no answer because putting up with them is a pain in the rear and killing them is not an option.

Yes we have become a society that frowns on common courtesty, I'll never understand this just today we are sitting in traffic at a red light and there were a couple cars trying to get across the street from a parking lot, Cindy waited to give them room to get on and waved to them, you should have seen the looks it was like she was trying to kill them or something and the ones behind us trying to get around, we were at a red light for Goodness Sake.

Anyways nice stuff you picked up, don't tell anyone but I do love thrift stores too :^)

I love thrift stores....

And my daughter has been trying to get me to watch V, but I don't know what's going on coming in during the middle of the season.

Nice Vase!
I have some lesbian neighbors that cuss at each other every morning, while I'm trying to shew the kids into the car.
Maybe the Dad was really tired and was hoping you would pick them up.
Yes I was very happy he was home, I miss him...that is why I'm commenting at midnight, when I should be sleeping.

You're too funny. You say how out of shape you are...and then you're off to mow the lawn. I think you're doing more than you know....

Well, that man with the child in the stroller was probably scowling before you got there...

Suzicate...LOL! Blogger has been a little off wack here lately. I am going to have to talk to the landlord. We now have another issue with them. Those mugs weren't even together when I found them, both from the same person, handmade for .25cents each!

Grace...Yes I do like green. There is no telling what went threw his mind, but the look on his face was pretty much..WTF do you want.

Rocky Grace...Our thrift store is a Hospice center. All proceeds go to hospice and the workers are all volenteers.

Kendrasue...Kids vs dog or dog vs dog..pretty much the same danger! LOL! I worked my butt off getting the yard mowed before it rained.

Tink...I don't think they speak english, I'nm going to have to talk to the landlord.

Eric...LOL!! I don't think we would go that far, our other neighbors might start getting mad at us.

Jimmy...LOL! No killing, what a bummer!
I drive people behind me crazy, cause I do that too.
You should be proud to like thrift stores, it is recycling!

Pseudo...V..Aliens have come to earth and are pretending to be friendly. Some folks are against the aliens and some are sucked in to yarn they have been spinning.

Laufa...Thanks. See that is just rude to the neighborhood and to subject your kids to such language they should be ashamed of themselves.
Seriously that is a point of veiw I hadn't thought about. Thanks.

Kathryn...I do work and most of the time real hard, but I also am the same way with food!
