A Show Finally Remembered

For many many many moons now, I have had this one kids show stuck in my mind. I could never remember the shows name nor the actors that was in it. I've probably asked every person I have know over the years if they remember it. Everybody says NO. I would do my best to try describe it to them, my efforts where always not that great. Considering I hadn't seen the show since childhood.

It was a funny show with a male and female dressed in silver robot looking suits with a box on their chests that had blinking lights and they had a very small space ship, there was also a young boy and a teenage girl. That was my best description, not much to go on, I know. That's probably why I always got a NO.

Well, my agony is finally over! I hate not being able to remember things, so they haunt me till I finally get an answer. Thank you TCM and the Internet! Watching one monster movie, brought another one to my head. Which then connected in my brain to another movie and then finally a name, that then connected to another name and voila! Her name was Ruth Buzzi!

I google her name and went to wikipedia and there it was... probably was there the whole time, the name of the show that had been driving me one step closer to nuts...Drum roll please

The Lost Saucer

Remember it? Probably not! It was very short lived series. I can't believe I remembered it at all.

Strange, how some things so insignificant can be stuck in one's head for so long.

Any strange things stuck in yours?

Oh honey babe ONLY strange things are stuck in my head LOL Right now I am stuck on the idea that my house is out to get me - I am afraid of the house. Does that count?

Ha!!! That is too funny. I NEVER heard of that show but the outfits do look familiar...hmmm.

I hate not remembering stuff, drives me insane, just last week I couldn't remember the name of a doctor that did surgery on me. SURGERY! I remembered two days later. Yeesh.

The crazy stupid thing stuck in my head right now is a song....Paparazzi. Uggg. Make it stop.

Yay for you for finding a way to figure it out! Don't you love the internet?! I do not remember that show. Sorry.

But recently we rented the new movie Land of the Lost and I had so much fun telling my kids about the original saturday morning series. Of course they thought it sounded ridiculous. =]

Grace...LOL! Yes being afraid of your house counts LOL.

Angelia...No worries, it only had six episodes aired, nobody remembers it but me.

I don't remember any doctors name, they don't introduce themselves but once and my mind is not on catching names.

Spot...Heck of a process huh? Yes I don't know I lived so long without it. Although it has taken the fun out of hubby and I racking our brains.

I loved the "Land of the Lost", although in my older age I rented the original movie and wondered why did I like this show? It was kinda stupid and the acting was horrible, but as a child who cared.

Kathryn...Lost in space was the answer I always got when trying to describe this show.
The internet is awesome!

Yes, I understand. "Electric toothbrush." Couldn't think of it all day yesterday. Kept saying "automatic toothbrush" and that's ALL I could think of. I used up so much brain power trying to remember I didn't even think to try Google. Sad. =)

I never saw the show, but it looks interesting.

I hate it when I can't think of the word I really need in the middle of a conversation, especially if it's a title, person, or specific scientific word. I do this all the time, usually with my mom. Then, days later it will come to my mind out of the blue, I'll blurt it out, and my mom knows exactly what I'm referencing! How weird is that?
