Rocks

So last post I mentioned hubby bringing me some rocks for the yard design I had in mind.
Here is a pic of my yard kinda bare and difficult to mow. I dreamed up a design that might look good and elevate the mowing issue, but first I had to get my hands on some rocks.

Hubby offered to bring me some rocks from work, but I had to unload them. Two hours of shoveling them out from the back of his pickup and lots of pain later, this is what I got done.

It was six in the evening by time I finished and since there was still some sunlight left, hubby thought it was a good idea to go get some more. Which was kinda cool cause yall know how much I LOVE to get out of the house, any excuse will do!

Just gotta love the look of a man driving a large piece of machinery!

I just had to share all my hard work with yall, even though as you can tell it is not finished.

I did manage to hurt myself as usual, my left shoulder feels like I pulled something and my left wrist still hurts but is getting better.

I am currently having an affair with Ben, but don't worry he is Gay. He sure does know how to treat my shoulder right. Sorry, bad joke, I know..but bf and I laugh our butts off cause we are on such intimate terms with Ben. Our hubbies should be jealous!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I told hubby I was going to post about rocks, he insisted that I show yall his fabulous pics from work. A strange and natural phenomenon that happened after moving truck loads of rock from this pile. The more that was hauled away, the top rocks would fall and left this face in the side of it. Hubby was at first creeped out at it, but that quickly turned into WOW!
I think your yard design is going to look lovely. I really like the white rocks! You are a brave woman to do all the hard work yourself!
The face is definitely creepy. So, of course, I love it!
I had a great aunt who always go through her day with Junior and Elmer--Absorbine Junior and Elmers Glue, one fixed her aches and the other fixed the breaks.
The white rocks are looking super.
That face in the rocks is something else. Would've creeped me out a bit, I have to admit. But the rocks in your yard look lovely, the work paid off despite the pain and your very close relationship with Gay Ben. ;)
You are a sucker for punishment but it does look nice. I am the same way, I will do something and then know I will pay in pain to do things the way I want. Age has really cured that to a certain extent.
@Lucy I am, I know. It really is sad that hard work hurts soo much, especially the older we get.
Yard looks great. I need more of those rocks for my rock garden.
At first glance I thought the face looked like George Washington. Now I think that's just Jesus letting know he's watching out for them.
