Life in the slow lane

I would like to take today off from talking about me.

I would like to draw your attention to a young lady Kendrasue over at Life in the slow lane, who today is celebrating her 200th post!

What an amazing achievement!

So..If I can implore you to check this lovely girl out, I really don't think you will be sorry.

She is a working mother and wife. She has one of the cutest little guys, I ever did see. I love reading her and I don't see why you wouldn't also.

I was gone from her page for almost two weeks and I must say I was disappointed to see that only a couple of her posts had other folks commenting, like 5 out of 10.

It makes me sad and baffles me that I am the only one leaving comments on half of her posts.

Please folks, lets fix this injustice.

200 posts! That's big and deserves recognition.

Not every post evokes a response. Often I am at a total loss for something to say even on the blogs of my bestest friends. Or I can't think of something positive to say - oh so often my reaction can be negative and I would never post a negative comment.

After 5 years of blogging I have discovered that I get the most comments on the somewhat humorous posts and the serious ones may get little or no response. I started writing just for me and now I realize I do have an audience and mostly, not always, write with them in mind.

Thanks for the shout-out! I missed reading you while you were gone! I hope your computer problems are long gone and can't wait to read more!

I'm going to take a peek. Everyone needs comments, they're like candy. :)

I will check her out. I know how it feels when comments dry up. I must tell you Heather, I don't think I will try to get my drivers licence renewed this year. I always said one thing my kids won't have to do is pry the licence out of my hand. Just did not want to mislead you.
