Last night we was talking about finainces and he said he needed to bring home more 60 hours or plus paychecks. I told him If he brought one of those home I would buy him a steak! Deal was made!
He totally cheated and went to "Steaks to go" for lunch! It is a drive thru steak house in New Braunfels. Instead of giving him little ketchup packets, they gave him this cute little glass bottle!
It is just a little bigger than his Zippo lighter.

Should hubby still get a steak from me?

Of course he should have brought you a steak. And Heather, thanks for the encouraging words. Boy did I need them. Yes enjoy when your daughter calls. I have discovered it is the only way to go. Took long while to learn that.

Heather, I have a feeling that we have some things in common, like a kid that does not call often. It is strange how we just appreciate the time that they do call. Of course I have one hold out that lives in Texas. He will not take any of my calls and has not for over a year. I think that the reason is because he has faced up to a lot of mistakes he made in his life that I helped him out of, and now that his wife did get fed up and leave because of his drinking he just does not want to admit we were right. I will love him always no matter what.
