Last night I pulled up my blogger dashboard and waited for the page to load. I scrolled down and waited for more things to load, this is how far behind I am. Again I scroll down and waited, get coffee, still not done, go watch a little of a old movie, come back, still not done. I could have taken a full hours nap, just waiting for the spot I last left off with in my reader's list.
I then saw this link for the Google Reader, I guess I never had noticed it before or just ignored it. I had heard of folks using this and thought I would check it out.
Holy crap, why wasn't I informed about this long ago. I can view all the posts I had missed in half the time. I think yall were holding out on me!
I took me awhile to figure the page out, but once I did..Woohoo! I did come across some issues..like not being able to do comments directly from the Google Reader, some blogs not showing a comment box (sorry Kaylen and Grace). Kathryn's page, the comment area gave me a Internet Explorer could not display (sorry Kathryn). Other than those issues, this new (new to me)way is proving to be sooo much faster.
Hopefully, I will now be able to get caught up.
Just goes to prove that there is still soo much I am still ignorant about. Without knowing about things, I tend to stay away from them. Sometimes you just got to take a risk and learn things on your own. Thankfully, it turned out to be a good thing!

I'm guessing that at least a few of yall watched Lost last night. I was surprised when hubby decided to watch it. We quit watching two seasons ago.
Well, the whole entire time that it was on, hubby was having acid flashbacks or something along those lines.
Hubby...those writers must be doing some really good drugs, maaan.
Yeah, yeah, that sounds gooood.
Lets throw that in to confuse them some more, maaan.
Pass that hit maaan! This is totally grooovy!
It don't matter if it all don't make sense, whooo cares!
Just leave them all guesssing!
Hit me up one more time, maaan!
Oh, yeah that's kicking it.
He went on and on...I can't remember it all, cause I was LMAO!!
He was so animated with his gestures and drawing out the words. Like I was watching Sean Penn in Fast times at Ridgemont High!
The hippie in him, came out..Big time!

You all know how much I like finding things. The other night we watched this new show American Pickers. Oh, yeah! I like that show a lot. They go to peoples houses and try to buy junk from them. They get to rummage threw peoples junk and try to find treasures.
I once, volunteered to help this old man clean out his shop. He had boxes and boxes of stuff that people just dropped off and he was too old and disabled to keep up with it all. The best job, I ever had! I loved it!

I love my Google Reader. It does make life so much easier, and once you're ready to comment you can just click the link and go to the page. For the record, I'm always behind on my Reader.
My husband just started recording American Pickers. It's pretty entertaining to watch. Some of the stuff they find. Wow. Reminds me of a more profitable version of Hoarders.
Relieved to find out American Pickers has nothing to do with noses...
That's my biggest gripe with Google Reader, that I can't make comments (or read comments) straight from there. It would be nice.
I don't watch Lost. I think I might be one of the few people in America who don't. Lol.
My hubby actually watched and liked the American Pickers show. He was telling me about it the other day. I just assumed it was about migrant farm workers and so didn't check it out. Lol. He watches all those crazy shows though, Ice Road Truckers, Axe Men. You name it!
♥Spot
My hubby and I were pretty sure *we* were on acid last night watching Lost. Trippy, yes. But it's going to definitely keep our attention!
My brother got me started on American Pickers and that show is awesome! Those dudes can see a diamond in the rough. Me? I'd probably walk on by a 4 carat solitaire and assume it's junk. =)

I missed it but I think I would still be just as confused if I had seen it. I'll check and see if I can watch online again this year.
I recorded Lost - will be watching it soon, thanks for not throwing out any spoilers!!
I'm excited you found Google Reader!! I went years without it too, and it was a HUGE change for me and my blog reading.
Well you are up on me. I don't use Google reader (or know how I guess-tried and got confused), I like subscribing by email. Wordpress is awesome and immediate.
I haven't watched LOST yet but everyone is saying the same thing. They are LOST.
Too funny about hubby's comments. I loved Sean Penn in that movie. Spicolli!
Also doing a giveaway on my blog. My FIRST ONE! (and possibly only)
Busy day...you just crammed three post into one. Your hubby sounds hilarious. You don't even need tv!
I got mad at my Reader and deleted EVERYTHING - on accident! 200 + blogs, GONE! Fresh start, I guess!
But American Pickers??? I had to go hunt it down - and I am hooked - just watched 3 episodes back to back... New addiction. But my friends call me the Queen of Crap, as it is. They've learned to spot a garbage pile from 10 miles away - and avoid it - when they are with me - otherwise I will be in it knee deep and carrying it home. When we lived in New Orleans, I found a whore red velvet couch on the side of the road and made my husband help me carry it 16 blocks through the Garden District to get it home. THEN you should have seen up trying to get it up over the balcony to the 2nd floor!!!
Love the show, though! Thanks for the recommendation!
Mrsbear...So far, I am loving Google Reader also. I am caught up except for todays posts.
Who knew they would come out with a show like that, that hubby and I both like!
Eric...LOL!!!!
Joshua...I soo agree! It would be nice!
Spot...Well if you never watched, then it might be best not to start!
My hubby watches all of those too. I do like Ice Road Truckers, but mostly cause I was a trucker.
Mindy...Lost is definately a trippy show!
I love American Pickers, but like you I wouldn't know a real diamond from a fake.
Jen...I wish I could watch it online, I really need to watch it a few more times. Then maybe I would get un-Lost!
Kaylen...I was very careful not to spoil it for anyone.
Sounds like you are leary of going into the un-known, just like me!
Angelia...One up on you, NEVER!
Lost, oh yeah, I'm lost!
That hubby of mine is a trip all by himself!
I'll be right over to check on your giveaway!
Suzicate...Sorry, that is just how my mind works. If I don't get it out now, I might forget!
Rabbit...What a bummer, but yeah a fresh start!
So glad I could add something to your list of must see tv!
You sound soo much like me! I tend to find things that are a challenge to get home!
I don't watch lost, or the other show you talked about but I too, felt like the world had held out on me when i discovered Google reader! Now if they could only let me comment from there, life'd be great!
I am terribly behind on my reader. Too much guitar playing going on, and not enough reading, I guess!
